President’s Message

CarethaWelcome to The Alumni Association of The Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary’s official website. It is indeed an honor to serve you, my fellow alumni, as the second President of this growing and impactful organization. Please join me in expressing heartfelt gratitude to our first President, Rev. Lynda Brown-Hall for her leadership, tireless service and generosity. Under her leadership, the alumni association was established and developed a solid foundation from which to build and flourish.

As I go forth in ministry; writing books, establishing schools and ministries, doing missions work at home and abroad, teaching, preaching, strengthening leaders and mentoring, I am reminded of the firm biblical foundation that I received at MSBBC&S. I pray that you have fond memories and enjoy the benefits of receiving a MSBBS&S degree as well.

The Alumni Association was established in 2011 and endeavors to be a “portal” between alumni and the alma mater and to serve and encourage support of the school. Realizing that the institution is no stronger than its alumni engagement, we invite you to get involved by becoming an active member and participant of the Alumni Association. We are committed to keep you informed, plan events and activities that are encouraging, enriching and engaging, and to provide a means for you to give back.

As I begin my first year as President (2016), my God-given vision is to strengthen, brand and position the Association to better serve, undergird, and support the Institution and to better connect and engage alumni.

There is strength and blessing in numbers. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore (Psalm 133: 1, 3). In order to sustain the legacy of our school, it will take the combined engagement of all alumni; from 1990 through 2016. Please share this message with other alumni and encourage them to subscribe to our newsletter and mailing list.

Question to ponder: “If not us, who, if not now, when?”

Willing and Able to Serve,

Caretha F. Crawford, ’95, D. Min.

President, AAMSBBC&S
